Look Good Feel Better & Maggie's

Supporting Confidence & Wellbeing During Cancer Treatment

WHAT IS LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER?

Look Good Feel Better is an international cancer support charity dedicated to helping people cope with the visible side effects of cancer treatment.

The charity provides free practical workshops that support individuals experiencing changes to their appearance, such as hair loss, skin sensitivity, loss of eyebrows or lashes, and changes in skin tone.

These sessions offer:

• Expert skincare and make-up guidance
• Advice on headwear and coping with hair loss
• Confidence-boosting techniques
• A supportive and friendly group environment

Workshops are led by trained volunteers from the beauty, hair and wellbeing industries and take place in hospitals, cancer support centres and Maggie’s Centres across the UK, as well as online.

REBECCA’S VOLUNTEERING WORK

Rebecca Morgan Brennan, founder of Morgan’s Hair Solutions, volunteers once a month with Look Good Feel Better.

Rebecca is both an experienced make-up artist and a specialist in wigs and hair loss solutions. She shares her professional expertise to help individuals feel more confident and supported during treatment.

She volunteers every last Wednesday of the month at:

Maggie’s Centre
Glan Clwyd Hospital
Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire

During these workshops, Rebecca provides guidance on:

• Managing hair loss and regrowth
• Wig selection, fitting and styling
• Eyebrow and lash enhancement techniques
• Make-up tips to restore confidence and natural appearance

Her involvement reflects a deep commitment to supporting people experiencing cancer-related hair loss and appearance changes.

Maggie’s Glan Clwyd supports people across North Wales and is open to anyone affected by cancer, whether or not they are receiving treatment at the hospital.

MAGGIE’S CENTRES ACROSS THE UK

There are Maggie’s Centres at major hospitals throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Each centre provides the same ethos of free, compassionate support tailored to local communities. Visitors are welcome at any Maggie’s Centre and may access support wherever it is most convenient during their cancer journey.
